Part of my ongoing Murti Series, this painting is inspired by sacred images found in temples across India.

Saraswati is the Goddess of wisdom, music, and the arts, often depicted with the veena and a calm, focused presence. A murti is a holy image or statue used in Hindu devotional practice, believed to embody divine energy.

This piece is a contemporary expression of sacred feminine art, honouring one of India’s most beloved goddesses through colour, form, and feeling.
