Part of my ongoing Murti Series, this piece is inspired by the Vinayak temple in Mumbai, a place I hold close to my heart.

Ganesh is the beloved remover of obstacles, bringer of clarity, and guide of new beginnings. He is called upon to make life smoother — or to place the right challenges in our path for growth and transformation.

In many goddess temples, Ganesh is honoured alongside the Divine Mother as her son, guardian, or companion. He is also closely associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance, symbolising that wisdom and prosperity must go hand in hand.

A vibrant work of devotional art, this painting carries the grounded, supportive energy of sacred masculine presence in service of the divine.
